Pilots pay highlighted in new Moore film

It is very funny to watch the "source shooters" that can't produce any facts to the contrary. It happened to be the first source I came to, but many other sources provide the same information. Forbes, WSJ, etc.
Show us how serious you are and prove it wrong.
What source would you like to quote which provides information on Moores investment and financial status or credibility?

It's very easy to make an inflamitory statement, using a suspect source and then ask those you disagree with to prove it false. It's also very Sophomoric. For someone that uses Hunter S Thompson as an avitar and burns the propaganda of the apparatus, I expected a more bullet proof jab. So, yeah, I guess I am a "source shooter". I hope we all are.
Y'know, my good friend Dave said that they are giving away free beer at BW's tomorrow....
Follow up...
Forbes, WSJ, and the like, I checked. Nothing, nada, zip. If you can find it, I'm all ears er, well eyes I suppose. I think Moore's message is less about making a buck, and more about what you do with it. To wit, my hometown of Traverse City. Yes, he lives there too, or well pretty close. Moore has enough money to wipe his you-know-what with $100 bills. However, he has pumped a ton of money into the local arts scene, local schools and the like. Nope, don't say it....NOT redistribution of wealth. Not at all, no one mandated it and no one asked for it, he just did, and does, it. Wouldn't it be nice to work for a company that actually pays you according to your worth? That can actually provide, through your labor, a wage that you can in turn provide for you and yours on? Seems reasonable, and very, very familiar. Isn't that what we're fighting for?

Anything that wakes up America is a good thing. I would have liked to see a different title for the film but if it starts to open the eyes of our citizens of this great nation about what has been happening and will again happen in the financial industry that is a wonderful thing. As one pointed out he talked about big banks and politicians(I haven't seen it yet) about 20-30% of the time regarding the mess "they" put us in. This is IMO the most important message of the movie and I am glad he has the balls to do it.
I see a common theme to this thread and others when this comes up and that is to blame the Democrats or blame the Republicans, right vs left or Socialism vs Capitalism. That watching this movie is akin to the other side watching Fox, etc. We all need to come together on this one and throw the corrupted players out! Both parties are in on this game.
A few good sources on the topics of the financial mess that we are in:
The Creature from Jekyll Island, a book about how the Fed was created and great examples of how it works
Amazon.com: The Creature from Jekyll Island: A Second Look at the Federal Reserve (9780912986395): G. Edward Griffin: Books
The Ticker Guy, Karl Denninger. He blogs daily and has a great forum and follows this mess daily The Market Ticker
Inside the Great Bubble Machine, great article from Rolling Stone that Jungle previously pointed out Inside The Great American Bubble Machine : Rolling Stone
FedUpUSA A great non-profit trying to educate people and make changes.

Michael Moore? Has he seriously not given up this "film" business.
I guess there's a sucker born every minute. That man is deplorable and should be ashamed of his own existence.

1. A sucker is born every minute.
2. Michael Moore is deplorable.
3. Michael Moore should be ashamed of his own existence.
But, you will post something like this and leave, never to be seen again. (Unless I called you out)

I'm sure it's a waste of time to ask you why you say:
1. A sucker is born every minute.
Ah well, if you believe the crap he talks - my point exactly.
2. Michael Moore is deplorable.
Come on it's 2:14 in the morning, do I have to go into this? Have you ever watched one of his films?
3. Michael Moore should be ashamed of his own existence.
Again - see above. Anyone who says the kinds of things he said about the USA and the President of the USA should be ashamed of themselves.
But, you will post something like this and leave, never to be seen again. (Unless I called you out)
No I'll come back. But I'm tired - I just watched a fabulous 2 hour documentary about economics. As much as it interests me, it tires me, so I'm going to head to bed, dream about Obongo being the boil on the arse of humanity that he is, and come back in the morning to tell you about Michael Moore and about how much of a deplorable (yes I said it again) American he is.
If the Moderators decide this borders the political aspect of the TOS, then I'll be more than happy to tell you about him in a PM.

My PM door is always open. But, if I am reading you correctly, you are saying that you think we should have given $700+ Billion to the banks last year and you are behind Pelosi, Reid, Dodd, and Frank, 100%. I'll be sure to tell Michael he is full of it.

Obongo? May I ask why you call the President of the United States "Obongo"? What is that a referecnce to? Funny, you're offended by someone who "says the things he says about the USA and the President of the USA" and in the VERY NEXT paragraph, call the Pres "a boil on the arse of humanity", and "Obongo". Or is it ok to do so long as it's not your guy? So, where does the hate come from? What has been done to you that you hate this guy so much? Seriously, that's not a rhetorical question, I'm very curious.

Calling President Bush (or in my case Obama) an idiot, a loser, or even a huge "pustulating" zit is a bit different in my book than the things Michael Moore was saying. Those are all character insults. The lies Mr. Moore was bloviating about were designed to pull a country apart and bring Bush down.
No I can't stand Obama. I cringe every morning when I turn on the TV and I see the headlines "P.... Obama does blah blah blah." How can this have happened? How can he be our president? I make it known I don't like the man. However at the end of the day, I try to respect the office of the president. Sometimes I fail, and I think my statements above were borderline, but again they are all character attacks. I don't go around screaming the other things I believe that are meant to bring him down. He's our leader, it is what it is.
Ha! Oh poor Jimmy. So if you don't agree with Obama's policies, it makes you a racist?
Well mister, you better go fire up the local KKK cause I'll be the next wizard. I don't agree with Obama's policies at all. If that makes me a racist, then so be it. I'd rather be a racist than a socialist.
I'm still waiting for my public censure from the Mods. I think this is starting to cross the TOS lines. In fact, if someone is going to respond to this - just send it in a PM to me. That'll be best. It's bad enough I'm labeled a racist now. Can I at least stay out of trouble?!?! ha!
