The UAL MEC should take lessons from council 170.

Can you take council bypass from other other airlines

Those guys are fighting HARD for their future and its too bad more union leadership doesn't do the same.

Not saying that we need to play hardball all the time, in fact it should be done cooperatively as much as feasible, but when you get stabbed in the back as often as the CAL pilots have, its time to get back to union basics and flex as much muscle as possible.

I think if you were just a little more in touch with the pilot group's perception of management actions and intentions, particularly the predominant beliefs of the pilots in the EWR base, you might still be on the negotiating committee.

But to answer your question, in one word, "Contract '02".

It's not a question of belief. It's a fact, and there are many documented examples posted on this forum. Contract 02 is a good place to start,however if that doesn't make you "bfull", try some of the CPO shenanigans recently. Feel free to refute any instance.
