It isn't about isolated anecdotes, it's about climate change. Yeah yeah, the Earth's climate is cyclical. However, climate change today is happening much faster than past cycles of change. It's time to acknowledge the reality of this issue. To try and politicize it and put economics first is putting the cart before the horse. Science first and the science says global warming is a reality.

Problem I have is why are the ice caps on Mars also declining...Sorry, I forget those huge SUVs on Mars are the culprit.

No proof, no citations, no vetting of data that's 100 years old taken from a thermometer of unknown calibration, orientation or location....just irrational conclusions and firm statement that "the argument is over".

a grand human arrogance is to think that we are causing global warming
the greater arrogance is that some humans think that we can stop it or reverse it.
possibly the greatest arrogance is with those who would curtail or limit peoples' freedoms, and take more of their hard-earned money in taxes and higher energy costs, in the great cause of stopping or reversing global warming.
even if it is not really warming.

volcanic eruptions
etc

Your first sentence shows your emotionally based rhetoric.So, an overwhelming majority of universities' science departments, the US Geological Survey, major oil companies etc aren't staffed with "real scientists" or "real engineers"

The link below is for anybody who may be interested in reading the 2007 Summary Report prepared by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).
The report is based on the work of some 2,500 scientists in more than 130 countries.
Whether you believe in "global warming" or you don't believe in "global warming" I think it is important to educate ourselves on the issue by familiarizing ourselves with the science behind the claims. Both for and against.
This is a comprehensive report and only the link to the summary. There is a larger more detailed report available on the IPCC web site. Please post any links to other comprehensive, science based reports that may have differing conclusions. I look forward to reading them.

In the 70,s it was the coming Ice Age ,in the 80.s it was the ozone layer .
What happened that these did not come to be as was told to us by so-called expert's?
Why were these people not held accountable for their LIES ?
I posted on April 4 that cap and trade was DOA and yet here we are in June and it's alive and well for now .
The Heritage Foundation has tons of information on Cap and Trade and what it's effect's will be on this country.
If and when this does come to pass I suspect that the people who are able to leave this country will do so .
Hopefully it FAILS!

Both sides of the issue have information to put forward. When deciphering it I always use the lessons taught from my meteorology professors (those with actual expertise on the issue) who made many points shown in this video.
And for proponents please keep in mind that there is a large climate scientist community that does not believe in the man-caused global warming models. A time came when proponents and the media declared themselves the victor and no longer debated those opposing the ideas.
