Be carefull with those guys at Falcon/Ufly, same people. I took a mechanic job there, eventhough I'm pilot qualified. They are always late with pay. The make you share apartments at their so called crew bases in KPGD, and KIWA. Not a good company to work for. They will ask you to move to one of these bases as part of an employment contract. They are very shaky... may not be in business much longer

I went for an interview with those scumbags in the first part of December. I was told to expect no pay during training, until the completion of IOE, no hotel during training, no per diem during training and on the line.

They have no jumpseat agreements nor are they part of CASS. Couldn't tell me if medical insurance would be provided, and to top if off, I would be required to sign an 18 month training contract for an SIC "rating".

Thanks, but no thanks.

Does anyone know if T. VH (ex-AA Eagle guy) is still the chief pilot or DO at Ufly/Falcon Air? Lost contact with him awhile back...

Another quick note. Be careful of who you apply to on those job boards. Bizjetjobs.com just put out a warning for "Falcon Air Services", turns out it was a phony company phishing for information. Just a heads up.

Interesting... I wonder if the phony company could be some people trying to "steal" pilot identities for nefarious purposes. Seriously. Fake IDs, access to jumpseats, fake FFDO badges to bypass security? Maybe I'm just old and paranoid though.

Wise decision, but that is only half of the story. Payroll always seems to be late. If you complain, you will be fired. Law suits happening now....

No not old and paranoid, you are smart to trust no one and I mean "NO ONE" these days

Stay away from Falcon Air! Total dirt bag operation...a good friend was there in training and he quit...they didn't live up to pay promises and wanted him to sign a 20K training contract...halfway through training!

Glad to say he has joined VA now and is very happy to be out of there!
