If it's true... CAL SCAB and 60+ ??? then it's safe to say ******* him. Get real, this guy screwed a large group of pilots as a SCAB, or do some of us just have a short memory?

If you believe that this is a bit harsh, take a short history lesson.

Short memory ................... or bigger perspective on life? You should join the mob - you have the same priorities regarding human life and money. Wow - saying "******* him" in front of the co-workers, and possibly friends and family of a VERY recently deceased pilot. What a tough guy.

That whale cockpit must get pretty small, pretty quickly for the guys lucky enough to fly with you.

im sure his family and friends could care less if he was or wasnt a scab. his wife got a call today from CAL that said your husband just died alone in a crew rest bunk on an airplane. our thoughts and prayers should be with his family and let the scab thing go. he wont be crossing any picket lines ever again

This is one sad thread. Not for the CAL captain but for the lack of compassion to a fellow human being. This makes me sick. I'm not a SCAB lover either but at some point the hatred must stop. I think death is that point. RIP fellow aviator.

RIP. Right now it doesn't matter what his beliefs were, what he's stood for, etc. It only matters that he was a Pilot (e.g. "one of us") and a human being. Blue skies.

What a bunch of pricks. I'm sure you'd all cross the line if you needed to. You're all selfish and know your lovely ALPA wouldn't actually do anything for you. You're all scabs deep down inside.

RIP

This thread should be deleted..... You can count me out of the airlines if this is how some of you behave. I know its not everyone, but WOW.

You guys need to look in the mirror and re-evaluate yourselves. Did anyone really die because of his decisions? NO.

I feel that you guys have now been relegated to TROLL status on this board. I would ask my fellow posters to now stop feeding the TROLLS and I ask the moderators to Ban their IPs. In fact why don't we have a vote on this?

Somebody died today, and some of you are spitting on the grave. Grow up and have some respect.

I truly am saddened at the thoughts/posts of a select few in ALL the threads about this poor CAL capt. passing today. Truly. The world is going to hell in a hand basket, and when I see what some of you posted, that just proves my point. Human behaivor never ceases to amaze me. No wonder why that one person that joined in Jan 2007 said today, "I quit". To see how another "lover of aviation" treats a fellow pilot by posting $hit when he's dead is PATHETIC. Your lack of sympathy during such a tragic time for his family is just unbelievable.....all you can think about is the "line". It's like being on a playground, in your little huddle talking about "that" guy over there, or "this" guy over here. Grow up....really.

When and/or IF he ever crossed a line, who the hell cares now? It's over, his life is over. IF he did, do we actually KNOW why that choice was made by him?? I'm sure the man had a family to take care of and did what he had to do (IF he even did) and I respect him for taking the responsiblity of taking care of his family.

At a time like this, we should respect this fellow lover of aviation and the childish behaivor should cease.

I feel for his family, I do. If they read this, not ALL of us on here are pathetic pieces of garbage. Some of us are actually human beings, like your husband, father or son was. We care, and we mourn your loss with you.
