Don't bother, he'll find something negative to say about it.......

Skyhigh, how bout writing about some of the positive aspects of the career that you encountered. I think you've written enough negative stuff to last a lifetime and to deter a generation. Why don't you try and even it out to provide a fair outlook on the career? Alot of people write about the negative aspects but not enough write about the positive. And just because there isn't much to write about, doesn't mean it should get less air-time.

Well, at least you're flexible.

It is easier now than ever before to get an airline job.

Airline flying is safer and easier than ever before thanks to modern airliners.

An airline pilot has fewer problems with wives, girlfriends and money managers since they are either not married or are divorced and they of course have no money. (joke)

It is much easier to finance flight training. Harder to pay off however.

Soon pilots can work much past 60. Perhaps Boeing could add a place to hook an EKG machine to the pilots to asses vital signs in flight?

No one stares at pilot in line at food banks anymore.

Union dues are going down.

ANd the best of all !!!! Today we can buy a ticket to fly from LAX to JFK for under $200. Man Greyhound can't match that.
