Default Virgin Hiring Question...

I have searched the forum, and haven't found anything recent...

Does anyone know if after taking the online assessment for Virgin America, will you receive any response about passing or failing it?

Also, any rumors about hiring? fleet growth?

Thanks.

I've got a bro in the current class, I think they are the last for a while. He tells me the recruiter told them that no further pilot interviews are scheduled right now.....but like anything else in aviation, wait a week and it could change. Good luck

No. But I heard rumors about the government shutting them down.

They are foreign owned and non-union, good riddance.

A "bro"? Man, that's hilarious. Is he your "blood brother", or just a member of your "hood"?

Technically, they should be forced to either shut down or immediately re-arrange their financing so as to comply with the foreign ownership rules.

I think the government is stalling because they don't want to appear to be bad guys by "eliminating" jobs. How long will they keep stalling? Who knows? Maybe long enough for the economy to turn around so Branson can get some more domestic investors.

Thanks for the reply, that's what I'm hearing as well.

I'm sure your bro is saying the same thing my friends say over there, that it's the best place they have ever worked for.

cheers.

Did your "BRO" tell you what flavor the Kool-Aid was over there too???

I guess he's "all in da Kool-Aid, and knows da flavor too"??
