I could not agree more.

How often does SWA sell out their flights? They usually don't have a very high load factor. They rely on reselling their seats numerous times throughout the day rather than packing every flight full. The tough New Yorkers might warm up to SWA once they find out how good the customer service is.

Just ask the carriers who already inhabit (LGA, JFK, EWR) the over saturated NY Airspace....I'm sure most who do would share their thoughts on how "just adding" more of the 10+ million would workout

Again, welcome to LGA
I heard that SWA doesn't fly anywhere that's ever had "ground stops", "EDCTs", or "flow"......what are all those fancy terms?

Yes, & when they have to start CXLing flights because of delays & WX, they will have very few places to put those pax effected by the CX. I've seen it happen when NE WX kicks in. People were demanding cars & to be booked on other airlines. I'm not saying that SWA airlines WONT be successful in LGA. I'm just saying that it's a different world, & it might take a while for them to adjust.

Different world is right; it will sure be interesting to see how they handle it. I don't think the WestJet and Volaris codeshares will help out those situations However, I am confident that Southwest will hold their own.

Ground stop...self explanatory

EDCT...Estimated Departure Clearance Time

and flow is when either the TRACON or Center requires so many miles in trail and hence, slow down or reduce the flow of traffic.
