What happens if someone, such as myself, does not drink alcoholic beverages?

Bring your logbook and get him to sign it as "dual received" ?

Seriously, there are plenty of Delta pilots who don't drink and with the economic realities of our generation, there are plenty of us who need to be fit to work at some endeavor into our 70's. Smoking, high fat diets and yes, even drinking, are not the past times they used to be.

Besides in Florida the Sweetened Iced Tea costs as much as the beer anyways. If you don't drink beer, or iced tea, you're just too picky.

OR, OR, OR,...You could drink heavily, eat fatty goodness, and smoke with an aim at dying just as your retirement money runs out.

I only trust a person who doesn't drink as far as they can drive me home.

You're going to make a lot of Captains very happy.....nothing like a cheap date. I don't drink coffee, so in lieu of beer, I'd buy you one of those foo-foo Starbucks mochachino latte caramel 'whatevertheycallthem' thingies in between flights.

On the other end of the spectrum, a year or two ago I flew with an F/O who drinks nothing but fine aged single malt scotch. His first drink cost $12. He was a great guy, but I paid for his first round and told him with high-falutin' tastes like that, he's on his own.

Had a few guys buy dinner, most will offer to buy you a beer.
Fact is that with little ones at home, the road is the time for rest.

Amen to that ACL! A couple o' adult drinks upon arrival and then sleepy time. I LOVE my layover bed time. No little fingers poking me in the face at 5:00 AM. Just a captain poking big fingers in my face at push back.

A great situation either way.
