That's what makes our company great! I hope that they continue the hiring practice as they have to minimize people with 'chip's on their shoulders' like you seem to have.

I'm sure that you are correct about what the pilot want, except that the interview process isn't a pilot driven process. HR runs the boat.

Skybolt, a pilot with more than a few recommendations from SWA Captains, Captains who might have a pretty decent idea that I'd be someone that would fit in.
