Age 60 question

Age 60 question
While sitting around at a local airport on a Sunday morning a week ago, a question came up that I could not answer. It concerns the age 60 rule.
One of the guys, strictly a private pilot, asked several questions about age 60 that led to one about part 135 operators. I assumed that the age 60 also applies to all part 135 operations, but a few there felt it did not - only 121 carriers.
I did a little research on the internet and could only find reference to the age 60 limitation applying to 121 ops.
Of course, my thinking was geared to "regional" type operations as I assumed most of them are 135 operations? Am I wrong here, also?
Confused on a very rainy morning.

Age 60 does not apply to 135, however all scheduled airlines (greater than 9 seats I believe) fall under 121 now, including what you referred to as regionals, being the 'express' carriers for the majors. Everyone has an opinion on it, so that's all I'm gonna say.
