Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
Ok. You're Crazy.
I used to wonder about how we managed to fill every seat in a DC-9 at 0440 too. I just figured that it was part of a mass exodus out of the frozen plains of ND. But that wasn't the case. We flew full back to Minot as well. Go figure.
Look at the upside. If you really want to embrace the feeling of numb extremities and frozen nostril hairs, all hope is not lost. I spied a few 32 hour Grand Forks layovers on the pairings list for next month!

The deal with Japan would replace a restrictive bilateral treaty stretching back to 1952. Under that post-World War II accord, Delta and United enjoy privileged positions in Japan among U.S. carriers, controlling 22% and 12% of passenger seats at Narita, respectively, according to data provider OAG. American has an 8% market share.
BRILLIANT!!!

How do I look up a pilot phone number in DBMS?
Select the "personnel" tab and then select option C. Just so you know, if you look at someones schedule or check their personnel data, a line will show up at the bottom of their schedule showing who checked their data/schedule.

The different airports out of NYC are not that bad. JFK and LGA are easy from Kew gardens with cheap cabs and buses available. Going to EWR from there is also not that bad. You don't go often and when you do you can take the long Island RR to Penn Station and then catch the EWR bus. Total cost about 18.00 dollars and takes about 2 hours. You are never under a obligation to get to EWR in 2 hours since you can measure your short call availability from the airport of your choice.
Also, for like $11 you can catch the Amtrak or some train from EWR's airtrain station to Penn Station. Its easier than the bus to EWR Penn although that is the cheapest round trip I've done. But I also had two not so lovely experiences with EWR Penn in the middle of the night.
Sailing you're making me rehash repressed memories of Newark.
Actually I loved EWR but the Penn Bus station felt like a bad place to be a 3am-ish. Anybody heard of Hogs and Heffers? Evidently someone believed that it was a MUST for my first NYC experience.

Here we go again.... Last time I checked, NYC is a pre-merger DAL base and they gained big. Get over it, NWA doesn't exist anymore and there's nothing you and I can do about it, it's ALL DAL now.
Are you so ignorant that you think there are no former NWA pilots and families that will also get displaced and affected by this AE?
Time to start rowing together my friend, we're all in this boat together like or not so might as well get along...

What happens to our Narita operation NOW with Open Skies and with or without JAL?
