ALPA national and the Delta MEC have already decided to kill their ALPA brothers. You see it in the news all the time...

What about the Midwest pilots that are on the street ???????[/quote]
WHAT ABOUT THEM? ONE DAY YOU HAVE A JOB THE NEXT YOU DON'T, ITS BUSINESS. IN BUSINESS YOU DO NOT GET WHAT YOU DESERVE, YOU GET WHAT YOU NEGOTIATE ON.

Well that is the problem with having politicians acting as lawyers at national. We need to weed those lawyer out too.
Fact is that what is happing to this group is nothing short of criminal. I would love to see us do something for them, but I am not holding my breath. We cannot even protect our flying.

You're right. Midwest pilots paid millions to ALPA national to protect their jobs and the negotiated scope language was ruled worthless.

Mini-hub? No. Making sure AAI does not establish a competitive presence in MKE to poach two of their main hubs - absolutely. Don't think for a second AAI will be given breathing room because DAL is preoccupied with a merger. We are increasing DC9 flying by 40% this next year. Guess why.

I've been very supportive of the fact that this deal blows from the word go, it's comments like that though that make me not care anymore. This whole mess (regional airlines doing mainline flying for less $) should have been fixed 15-20 years ago. I spent on the issue, lets start talking about how to fix it instead of wasting time pointing the finger and blaming someone else.
