Default CAL System Bid

Anyone hear any rumors / info on when the results of the latest system bid at CAL will be available?

Our previous system bid had displacements on it. This one was pretty flat with no real movement. The only good thing about it was we had some guys that didn't get furloughed after the last bid that didn't have a position and were sort of in limbo. They now have positions.

I think I preferred to not have a position but be staffed NYC756 than the award I saw today with me on the position of NYC737. Oh well, can't please everyone...Looks like they're calling people for training fairly quickly too.

Those never existed, and that rumor was false. The rumor that seems to be left echoing is that there is a POSSIBILITY or recalls late in the year (after summer) and hiring early next year. I have no way of proving or disproving that one at this time, and as you know - there are far too many variables at this time.

If you are a lineholder on the 737, even junior, you will end up with more than 12 days off opposed to the junior 757 near Europe unproductive **** fests that pbs produces.
