My thoughts exactly. Plenty of guys took the early $$ and went overseas to fly somewhere.
The only plausible/pretty funny explanation I heard for the chumps who passed on the "lump" before BK was I guy I heard barking one day on the bus who said he did not want his pycho, !#!&#! ex-wife getting half his cash. He'd rather keep flying to far off places chasing hookers and fat F/A's.
Probably b.s. but got a laugh out of us anyway.

2010- 211
2011- 179

Total- 3138
(46% according to this site's current number of active pilots)
The next 10 years past 2016 averages 432 Retirements/Year
Obviously, a change in the age 60 rule, which is gaining momentum, would affect these stats.

How old are you? Over 18? I have mistaken you for something you aren't. Appears you don't work for UAL and why waste your time playing around here under your moniker? Sorry, this type of lurker irks me.
