Delta losing Delta Shuttle to RJ's
#31
Here's the question though...I'd be willing to bet CAL needs an aircraft smaller than the 73G and certainly bigger than the E145 (and other than the Q400). Kudos to you guys for holding scope at 50 seat jets. But is it likely that they will approach you guys to fly larger RJ's at mainline?
Time will tell, but you probably won't see this change anytime soon.

Those flights are so short that I wonder if WiFi on them would even really be that attractive.
Think of how many minutes you'd have between 10,000' chimes to use an electronic device. Maybe 20 minutes on BOS-LGA or LGA-DCA.

True, but a lot of the folks who use the Shuttle earn serious money - the $9.95 charge for the wifi flight is literally nothing if they can send an email or a document that might get a multi-million deal or respond to an issue.

Chimes at 10,000? ...LOL I guess you never flew the Shuttle.

So does that mean CAL mainline will be flying say an E170/75 or those types simply won't be flown at all since the scope prohibits them at express?
