This was absolutely classy and shows that there's no shortage of generous and concerned pilots at CAL. I hope to see this unity result in an exceptional contract.

Management might have furloughed me, but my fellow CAL brothers and sisters have not forgotten the 147.

Thanks!

I just saw where one of our fairly junior B737 CA's in EWR (A employee number) had a line value of 90 + hours for December. PATHETIC in my book. I guess having guys on furlough is of no consequence to him. Unfortunately, I'm sure their are many more like him. They're only building line values to around 74 hours, so you KNOW this guy is grabbing open time. Sad, isn't it? I'd like to know if he donated to this fund, but my bet is he'd never get caught trying to help his fellow pilots out.

Update: Just found out this guy was an EAL scab so helping his fellow airman is not in his list of priorities. No big surprise there.......... I just wish for once ALPA would let the company's get rid of those who do this kind of stuff. Seems like for every 5 pilots we have willing to help, one is willing to screw everyone..... Again, sorry for the thread drift. I hope those who received a gift card enjoy a little more joy this holiday season and know SOME of us DO care about them and bringing them back.
