How does one get into CASS? Who do you have to call to get your airline into CASS? Who runs CASS?

They dont really give you much on the internet about it and I would think that being on this forum would imply I was in the aviation industry. I am looking to see if a 135 Sched OP could get into the CASS.

No "Need to Know"
If you work for an airline, contact your Corporate Security department. I don't believe FAR Part 135 carriers can participate. BTW, anyone can get on this forum.

If you looking at getting onto someones jumpseat agreement and are 135, you need to send a letter to the airlines jumpseat coordinater. Even if you are not CASS, you can still be approved for "Cabin Only". However, your company has to meet certain criteria in order to be approved and the hoops are rather large. You have to be a shceduled charter outfit, just not on demand. Your schedules have to be listed online. These are just a few of the hoops another 135 outfit had to go through to get added and they run night FRB runs and have been allowing our crews to ride for years. They were previously on the agreement prior to 9-11.
If your not scheduled, the agreement benefits you more than the airlines, and such outfits are usually denied.
