I'm kind of amazed that any professional sports team would go cheap on flying. Charter a reputable airline seems like probably the best, most cost effective option. Losing the entire roster and support staff in one fell swoop seems like motivation enough to make sure they do it right. But, what do I know.

Atlas occasionally does Chelsea FC, Manchester United (ManUre), Barcelona and a few others. Some 767 and some 747.

That is interesting. I flew a biz jet for a guy that had more money than he could ever spend. He chose to defer mx at times when it would save a buck. I was thinking "I'm going to be flying you, your daughter and two month old grandson in that plane next week. Are you sure?" Everyone's looking to save a buck I guess.
