Yes you sit at home, no obligation to fly. I think it pays 40 hrs.

I see thanks. I guess if I had a second job to make up the difference it wouldn't be bad to take a short break from flying maybe? Does it look like some guys/gals are going to bid those lines?

You know I'm answering out of memory but I believe they usually go fairly senior.

They “usually go senior”? I thought the “zero lines” were a current proposal from management as a way to avoid additional furloughs. Are you saying you've had them for a while?

We are talking Delta here. Yes, they've been around for several years. Here's the "SILs" for Dec.

Huh? Delta? I thought this thread was about Airtran and possible furloughs there? So to clarify things, have those "zero lines" been introduced at Airtran?
