Definitely worth reading, especially by the flying public!

Yeap, good article that hopefuly will help open public's eyes. Every year seems to get worst. Now, we pilots need someone from the New York Times ridding with us in the jumpseat along a 4 day trip, specially in a regional....aheem...pinnacle. I would love to see an article in a nationwide paper with the reality of pilots these days, specially regional drivers.

I love how the youngest FA on the bunch was 50. WOW. At that age can they really help in an emergency? Ron needs beer goggles just to get on the flight.

I am a/k/a Ron Mexico

the average salary is 33,500?...willing to bet that on that flight with all of them putting in +20 years as flight attendents that they're making much more then that (i know its the average just pointing out the "their" frustration vs. someone with that actual average salary)
