If that second chart isn't the hardest thing to interpret, I don't know what is!
I think there were 9 that declined the adjustment on September 3, 1 that declined it for September 10, then things get tricky on September 17th. It looks like 20 were not offered an adjustment and 1 declined it. October 1 shows 24 furloughs with no adjustment. Adding in the 48 for the end of October and you get a total furlough number of 103. I don't know if I am reading the flight plan correctly, and I don't know if it contains current and accurate numbers either.

Randy, I wish that were true. BUT, it is not. I was originally going to be furloughed Sept 10. However, because of some voluntary leaves (thank you BTW), I was pushed back... A WHOPPING WEEK!
So now it is officially Sept. 17.
And Farm Boy, Hell would have to freeze over for NO FURLOUGHS to happen.
UAL has a plan up their sleeve I am sure.

I don't want to come back to UAL if it is still a job - make it a career again !!!

I am still scheduled for furlough on Sept. 10....
Do any of these guys know what they are doing?
Before the bankruptcies, it was all about "market share"
Now, they are willing to forego market share and shrink the airline by one-quarter.
MBA's are a dime a dozen, and worth that much, I'd say....

My condolences, folks. I interviewed but wasn't hired in Jan. I was very disappointed at the time, and if I'd have been hired, I'd be right there in the soup line with you.
Hopefully Mgt. will decide that no cuts are warranted, and maintain status quo until times are better.
