So can someone buy the rights to an airline name when it folds? You are correct about PanAm. Didn't they just go out of business again a month or two ago. I have only heard of Eastern closing it's doors once. I agree the Name should not be used again.

Please give me the guys' number that is starting this new airline equipped with 737-200s. Straight from hell gas guzzlers with todays' gas prices. I can bet it won't last long. Those must be geniuses to have a business plan that would work in this time and day of high gas prices, weak financial markets, looming recessions, mortgage crises and to top it all off with a bunch of classic non-economical 737s'......
