Exclamation Quit Complaining!

I, as well as most of my friends, am sick and tired of hearing how bad you airline pilots have it! Shut up already! You are overpaid bus drivers whose pay is being properly realigned with the skills required to perform the duties. The pay you whiners are receiving, $177/hr for a 747-4, or $137/hr for an A-320 is ridiculous. If your case is so compelling, why did the pilots that were giving "Information" to passengers at MSP go ballistic when I gave those same passengers the NW pay-scale?

Remember, these are the same pilots that put their pompous noses up in the air when talking about us corporate drivers. To the pilots...it's not your airline; you merely work for the MANAGEMENT! They are entitled to the lion's share because they are the ones who created and grew the company. Tell you what, why don't all of you airline pilots pool your money, and create your own airline? See just how far you get.

Hey, I am assuming you work for JB, I am flying the E 190 from BOS to PBI and back on May 3 coming back on the 10th. I was hoping to get a look up front. Are JB pilots willing to let a few folks up front prior to pushback or after landing if you explain who you are and show an airport badge? Just curious.

Obviously a ill informed Pilot who obviuously has No Clue and has a major chip on his shoulder!......... or he is a management stooge pretending to be a pilot.

In either case, it is just better to ignore him than to stoop to his level.

Ignore him an he will go away!

See, when you get hit squarely in the mid-section, there's nothing you can do about it. Telling people not to reply...very childish. As I stated in my original post, you guys are overpaid bus drivers.

Tell you what, if your case is so strong, why not have the Nation's newspapers print all of the pay scales for all of the airlines. How much sympathy would you guys get then? Not much! Just like when the NWA mechanics went on strike...once the pay scales were made public, the daily pandering by the papers stopped.

The problem is that you guys have no leg to stand on; you hide behind a union. Why should a bus driver make $175/hr?

As I said before, go out and start your own airline.

What the hell is going on this web site? Looking two months ago this place was so friendly. Now the pilots are doing nothing but putting one another down. The whole thing about getting paid is getting on my nerves. There are not many jobs out there where two single people can control 50-400 lives. Personally when I am flying I feel good inside that the pilot is well trained, and happy being there, and I do believe that he or she should be getting paid top dollar. When I walk by the cockpit I always look inside and see if the captain has little grey in his hair (nothing against the young captains).

Without pilots the airlines will not make money, it’s a fact. It is easy to find a person to give out drinks, or load bags on the airplane, but flying is a different story.

It’s sad to see pilots give away the money they worked so hard for. All the high paying pilots did their dues, and now they are sacrificing their life style again.
