Baggage fees

I flew on Iberia from Frankfurt to Barcelona and payed my 2 euro for a 0.3 liter soda. The drink service took over an hour due to the payment fiasco and I couldn't pay 2 euro more for a second. There was quite a lack of convenience that I had come to expect from air travel because of this one small change.
As for baggage, if I see / pay the direct cost in transporting my baggage and it doesn't make it I will demand my full or partial reimbursement and then my business will be taken elsewhere.

Exactly. People have been paying for this all along - the only difference is now they are intimately familiar with how much they paid for that particular portion of the service. If the bag doesn't show, they'll want the money - this will add more people in line to be serviced by underachievers and in the end gives 'em all a perfect reason to go fly on SWA next time..
Its **** poor management at its finest.
How many of you guys sit on congested ramps burning hundreds if not thousands of pounds of fuel every day? Can't fix that though, that would require some brainpower and hard work.

I would only agree if that sentence was specific to US legacies. Korean, Thai, Air France etc all have excellent cabin service, food, etc and as far as service goes, it is a race to the top. With US based legacies, it's nickel and dime the customers in the race to the bottom of the service curve.
Your paycheck may vary !
