Virgin America hits new LOW in pay!

Jeez Folks,
Do you guys think there is a "Major CEO" forum out there where big-shot managers running an airline get together and discuss how their not worth the money their making? I'll bet not.
These wages that are spiraling to the bottom and the fact that morons are lining up to take accept them reflect that yes, the average Pilot today is a mother ****ing, self flatulating idiot.
What if we, as a group, got together and told these cheesy-assed CEO's collectively, we were not showing up for work tommorrow until the BS comes to a grinding halt?
Do you think we'd get our message across? Perhaps when our Countries GNP starts taking a hit and we do inconvience Joe Public maybe they'll notice.
I'm tired of being told its my fault as a Pilot that my airline is losing money due to a management that won't charge a reasonable fare for a ticket. Guess what Joe Public, it costs money to fly and you'll pay for that seat unless you'd like to see us all take the day-off.
Done ranting but I wish ALPA, APA, SWAPA ect... would get together and try for a more formidable approach.

Its amazing that there are pilots out there willing to take such low paying jobs. They only hurt the industry by accepting such pay. If nobody would apply for these positions Im sure they would have to raise those salaries.

In a million years, you will never have pilots turn down employment in aviation, no matter what the pay is. Its a fact of life. APA, SWAPA and other in-house airline unions won't champion any external causes. Why should or would they. What would they have to gain? They have their own problems to deal with.
On the other hand ALPA would never discourage anyone from seeking employment with ALPA covered airlines. Doing so would be contrary to their own interests. They want their dues paying membership base to increase.
People whoe spent years and lots of money training dreaming of that brass ring may not be willing to take a fulltime doing anything but flying. They may hold part time jobs else where to supplement their income, but will not give up reasonable job in the aviation field.
Anyway I believe the corporation that will manage Virgin America is still awaiting approval from the DOT regarding the management team's eligiblity to run an airline. I also don't think that a schedule for certification from CSET, which is the airline certification section of the FAA be set up. Therefore speculations within this thread may be for naught.
If Virgin makes a goe of it, then is it not, the right of any pilot desiring any employment even if at lower wages to take such positions, as is the right of those pilots desiring hire pay at other airlines paying such wages. However, overseas employment would be required for such high paying jobs.
The competion is so kean at UPS, FED EX and SWA therefore chances for employment are greatly limited. The chances of employement with Cathay, China Air, Emirates, etal are greater.
