Fly4Hire, source on that is weak, but it is apparently what they are telling the few pilots that have been interviewed. That is why I said "the word is".

When you look at who the CEO is, I wonder if it's even that high.

FlyBy, you've obviously got problem with Branson, but you fail to make your point. We have too many pilots out there now, and that is what's driving the market. Sure, SRB would love to get us on the cheap, but if we were rare instead of tripping over ourselves, he would have to pay the market rate. It takes pilots to train pilots, so guess who gets the blame.

Default Virgin Payscale

Okay, so, who and where did those payscale figures come from and how reliable are the sources?

Not really suprising. Any idea how many have been interviewed and what the real competitive minimums are? I got the impression the first bunch were all going to be current and qualified A320 Check Airman

Here's the basics boys for Virgin America.

Copied from another web site, (no shame) . Page 4 may give an idea how much they plan on paying.

$41-126/hour

"Note: Most employees will start at the minimum wage; the maximum wages are projections since this is a new company."

Alot of speculation for a company that is a DBA... not even approved by the DOT, let alone a schedule agreed upon by the FAA for a schedule for certification. With the increased cost of jet fuel... alone I would not be suprised to see some of the investors back out of the investment group.
