I heard a vicious rumor that it's not a good idea to be an ex-pat pilot (Emirates... for example) if you one day want to come back to the US to fly for a legacy carrier (or FedEx/UPS/etc). Is this true? And if that's the case, why would it--specifically--pose a problem? Thanks in advance!!

just fedex and maybe ups i believe for reasons stated above (military contracts as well?). legacy carriers not a problem. by the way possible 20% pay raise coming to Emirates' this year.

Hi!
We just had 2 positions in ABQ open up, so they may be interviewing for those. Usually, no one in YIP wants to go there, and I'm not sure if anyone in the pool wants to go there either.
We may start hiring again for YIP soon.
