Good post and somewhat accurate. Gecko explained it pretty well. Regardless of the conspiracy theories any business must have assets to manage day to day ordinary transactions. Problem with most other airlines is their debt to asset ratio is pathetic. The old adage "you must have money to make money" is almost always in play.

Trying to make a connection between Texas oil companies and the price SWA pays for fuel/and that SWA is the cause of high fuel prices for others is really
reaching.

One of my friend pointed out that although the price of oil has risen. The value of the U.S. Dollar has also fallen, thereby inflating the price.
