Read an interesting report that came out of Wayne State University, Detroit, MI
CEO's pay in relation to the average worker's pay:
For every $1 the average employee makes, the average CEO pay and stock options equals
Japan: $11
Germany: $30
Austrailia:$27
England: $33
USA: $523
Something to make you say HUMMMMMMMMM

By the way, The president of ALPA (Duane Woerth) receives over $500k in salary and benefits. I wonder if he has taken a 40% paycut, or any paycut for that matter....NOT!
Plus I'll bet anyone he still has a pension......

How about starting a program to get Dons, Capos and other "made" men to take up flying. Follow me here... We could fast track them into the airlines and put them in charge of "the committee". This committee would police corrupt management types and would pay monthly visits to corporate headquarters making attitude adjustments as necessary. Any grievance issues would certainly be handled by the committee and of course they would handle contract negotiations. Our dues would probably go up and of course it would need to paid in cash but what the hell. Of course we would have to offer leaves of absence for any committee member needing to spend 5 to 10 years doing other things but what the hell. I think I am on to something here..... Can you imagine flying with captain Soprano? You know that management wouldn't be busting his balls for calling in sick!
