DELTA AIRLINES INTERVIEW 2008 Questions?
#61
Quick question guys:
In the confusion that is airlineapps, I completely forgot to list my high school under the education section. I got an email telling me to fix it and I did. I have two questions about that.
Once I added my high school it automatically gets sent correct? I know that it says it does but I dont really trust it
Also, will this put me back at "the bottom of the pile" again?
Any info would be great!

I received an e-mail telling me to correct something on myapp. Once I corrected it, I sent a very short e-mail back to the sender informing them that I had corrected the issue and received my invite to interview 2 days later (yes, today)!

There is a new post on WFFF that indicates that the math portion of the knowledge test has been reduced. This information was also posted on the January trip report. Can anyone else who has taken the test since January 7 confirm this or were your results different?
Thanks

AWESOME! Congratulations and good luck man!
Another question, are people taking in letters of recommendation along with the other things that are required to be taken to the interview?

About required documents:
You will sign some forms when you're greeted by Capt. Kraby first thing in the morning, and he will then collect all the forms you have, i.e. certs, medical, PRIA, etc...
When your interviewer escorts you to the room, they will need and only need your logbook, period. If you bring a copy of your most updated airlineapp, take it out to go along with the interviewers. At no time resumes were required and asked. I asked if they would like to accept my LOR, and they accepted it at the end of my interview.

Another question.......sorry....
I had a citizens arrest placed on me for trespassing which was absolutely ridiculous. After the judge saw it, he laughed and dropped all the chrages.
Never convicted of anything, is this something one should/would bring up in an interview?
Thoughts?

However...I don't think it makes any difference at that point. You either passed all the tests or you didn't and the interviewers are either going to like you or they aren't. I don't think recs are going to sway anything at that point. It's not like they are going to think "man, this guy is the biggest tool I've ever met, but here's a letter from some dude who I've never met that says he's great. Maybe I was wrong about him."
Can't hurt, I suppose, but...

That is correct information. Mine had only about 3-4 math oriented questions, and most of them are from the old gouge. Again, spend more time on general system questions, navigation and review wx chart symbology (I had one). Good luck!

The thing they sent me said to bring the ORIGINALS of all my Officer Performance Reports...I don't have them...they are kept in a secret vault somewhere at HQ Personnel Geeks in Texas. No way to get ahold of them. I called before the interview and they said copies were fine, and no one ever gave me any grief about the copies.
