DELTA AIRLINES INTERVIEW 2008 Questions?
#103
Navy blue suit, new crisp white shirt, red tie, black shoes in good shape and polished. You are being interviewed by former military officers, stick with the program! As for your logbook, here is a piece of advice - get logbook pro, print it all out and put it in a binder. My interviewer said three words as he looked through my log book - "impressive, impressive, nice logbook" - no more questions about that one! Then - be as honest as you have ever been in your life and you will do fine. More than one person has walked in to the DAL interview thinking they should stick out, or even better - try to make themself something they are not, it doesn't work! They know who you are before walking in there, convince them that they will have a good time with you on a four day trip and you are a mile ahead already! Best of luck, and remember - Stick with the program! If you need a gauge to cool the nerves and be better prepared, PM me.

A lot of the guys at the interview wore dark blue suits or black suits with some blue in them. I chose a conservative outfit myself, and had a pressed white shirt that fit around the neck properly, along with a red and blue tie. Some guys wore other color ties, and the employees there even joke about mostly everyone wearing a red tie. Funny. Polished shoes are a must in my opinion, and dont forget to clip your fingernails and get a hair cut. You will be wearing a uniform at work, and I think that they must look at your appearance to see how you will rep the company. Thats all I can add. Good luck.

They never looked at mine, but I brought them because they told me to. I know guys who were asked for them. If you're former Navy, you can get a CD from BUPERS with all your stuff on it, but it might take a few weeks if you're not willing to go to Millington and pick it up in person. USAF, I don't know.

They read my OPRs and asked me questions about them (Nothing bad...all good). I would look for the FITREPs. Were you given your records when you got out? Does your personnel section still have them? For the AF, we go to the Military Personnel Flight at our Wing. Dont know about the other branches.

I got out 12 years ago... I don't think they have a CD... maybe a micro-film (remember those)
... or maybe a stone tablet?
