757 Winglet

I have yet to be able to see the winglets from the cockpit no matter how hard I smoosh my greasy forehead against the windows. Then there are some planes where I can see the tip of the wing with the slat extended (non wingletted)... Grog no understand.

Hey Folks, Maybe I'm "Ole School"...But I HATE the new winglets on a "75"... I have been trying to conform,..but as a Capt on the airplane, I'm sorry I think it takes away from the ...sexiness of the bird. Of course maybe I am wrong and maybe I need to wake up to the times...Your opinions... Vernon

Love the RB211 When we takeoff from La Paz Bolivia it demands respect.
We watch the Aero Sul 727's takeoff and barely climb.
I saw an E-190 there 2 years ago.
La Paz is 13,318' above sea level. When we taxi out, not sure if it's still there, but there was a Cessna 150. Either they turbo'd it or it's a joke.
