I don't think the 75's look bad with winglets.
Im surprised Boeing didn't go with the raked wingtip for the 763 like they did on the 764. I think that would look much nicer on the '75 as well. I think the DL 757 in new colors looks pretty sharp with the winglets though.

Totally agree!!! The seat just behind the Captain was like being in a live Imax theater.

The "Diesel 10" was and still is my favorite airplane. Too bad I never got to fly one, but I can still remember the few times I rode up front. Power seats, large windows, spacious flight deck, and oh the sound of those CF6's at takeoff power.

Second best were the 767-200's that TWA and UA flew. They were also spacious with large cockpit windows. The original 767's were set up to have engineer seats but were sold as a 2 man airplane. Early models had the extra space and it was like being in someones living room. And like the DC10 at takeoff those JT9D's purred like a kitten.

I kinda like the winglets on just about any airplane including the 757...the 757 is THE best looking airplane out there without winglets but even better looking with them.

I suppose even the mighty R model would look better (than it already does) with winglets!

ANY jumpseat that gets you where you're going is the "best". The roomiest I think is the B777. DC-10's weren't bad though. although the "best" of the "worst" has to be the seat behind the CA in the B737. A ride is a ride, but man that is one uncomfortable seat after about 5 minutes.

I could sit on that 777 jumpseat across the ocean and not feel all that bad. Especially the one behind the F/O.

MD-11 is great too.

Most interesting was sitting sideways in the DC-8 behind the F/E. Cool though.

The worst one is where you are strapped in and have to get booted because a mainline F/A shows up, bumping the online pilot from his seat in the back to the jumpseat. Happened on Eagle and still makes me rage, the smug look on her face.

Oh, and I happen to think the 757 with winglets actually looks pretty good.

BTW, I wonder if the wingleted airplanes produce less wake turbulence? Seems like they must.

Some guys don't mind a small torso if they have nice legs. The RB211's don't have a problem of getting it up quickly...to altitude that is

I would love to see a pic of the mighty R model with winglets...supposedly there was a study done back in the 70's or early 80's on the -135 to see if winglets were a worthwhile addition, the answer was no...wonder if mother Air Force wishes they could reconsider that decision? I also read that the KC-X (aka 767 tanker) will not have winglets, wonder if that has to do with the MPRS on the wings...?

I still stand by my previous statement, the 757 is the best looking bird out there (pax hauler-type) with or without winglets.
