I hope, but I have flown with a few CAs that said they would not go back. But one can hope.

O.K. F.F.
I have looked. with A.A's current pay scale I am still making more than a 6 year f.o. on the 75/76 by over $20,000. why would I come back????? To spend an the next 2 decades pulling gear???? no thanks.
the other big question is what this free skys crap is gonna bring. The legacies
main profit is in the international for now. All the LLC's are looking at it. Etops app. is on file all ready! so now we are coming for that as well. but the thing is are we going to be competing with very low paid pilots of international carriers flying city to city in the U.S. of A?? and some of these have their own gas as well. ie mexico and some of the South american kids.so cheap labor and cheap gas, not a good set up for us at all. thanks to the government again.

To call us a scab outfit today is just wrong. look at CAL and UAL numbers when the had 2000 pilots and see what your percentage is.we still come out ahead. get over it already. where else do expect people to go today?????
UPS window closed
DAL sounds like a freeze
SWA projections have been pulled way back.
UAL. scary to say the least. the boys and girls over there deserve way better than the ride management is offering at the moment.\

so what else do u have to offer????
Wow you convinced me. Can I put in an app? Makes me wonder though why a recent new hire class I stopped in to say hello too had two AirTran guys in it. Also, there is no freeze at DAL (actually depending on how many 777's we can get our hands on the pilot hiring estimate is 600-1000), and we get 11% toward retirement. (and that's under the worst contract we've ever had) I'm not saying anything bad about AirTran, just food for thought. You seemed a little coolaid drunk.

I agree most of the scabs left with the critter call sign. And for God sakes do not send them back gift wrapped or otherwise. We've got over 12000 apps on file so no shortage of candidates, apparently one of the early retirees wanted to comeback so we had to go to the trouble of drawing up a LOA to address the possibility of returning. He would have to reinterview and get a new seniority number. Thankfully one far higher than mine.

What is this crap?? Delta and AirTran pilots getting along, dogs and cats living together...mass hysteria!!

All joking aside...We're gonna give em some serious hell! We surely deserve to be treated like professionals and paid accordingly. I hope we can ALL prosper in the future. We need to start looking at this profession as a collective whole of airline pilots and not just an entity of a certain company.

...and a very Merry Christmas to all. (I'll be working ,of course.)

Tazzed,

As I mentioned, AMR is recalling former TWA Capt's and senior F/Os (1988-1989 hires). Most will go back at the top of the pay scale which is in excess of $105/hr. Most have been at Air Tran for 3-5 years. If they are making more than $105/hr after 3-5 years they would be crazy to leave. But I don't think that is the case if they are F/Os.

Just my opinion....
