so do they consider those guys switching airplanes from the 727/320 to the 9?

I think they put all of the guys/gals coming off furlough on the DC-9. The ones who flew the -9 before they were furloughed only got a 6 month freeze, where the ones who didn't got a 2 year freeze. New hires apparently are going to the -320 and in my estimation the 757 soon. If you are asking what they consider the guys coming off the 727 (which is gone) and 320 that are returning from furlough, I think the answer os frozen for two years. As for the new hires, they must be getting the new positions before they begin groundschool. (I really don't know) I'm sure they found a way to do what they want and/or we just gave it to them,,,,
