Those aircraft need painting anyway, and the new livery saves US Airways quite a bit of cash. Also, with the new hub in Phoenix, the dark color would fade very quickly in the Arizona sunshine.

All the pretty paint in the world can not clean up the smell from brown stuff underneath created by the wreaked careers, stolen pensions, broken promises and deplorable mismanagement of the assets and advantages they had.

I just hope that all the baggage from U does not eliminate the chances for success that AWA is hoping for.

the tail looks like the current/old UAL scheme. No "wow" factor...kinda like airline managment.

With ideas like that during a time that our profession is going down the toilet I sure hope you never get hired at CAL.
