Bags, I am just west of you at Laughlin flying T-1s. Seems like a lot of you navy c-12 guys are getting out and joining SWA. HuronIP got hired last DB i think.

It's a mixed bag satch. Some do and some don't. Most seem to be getting an interview slot, those without the type wait for Db to make the $5000-$8000 leap. Some get the type first. We have kinda a good deal where we can get our ATP for $300 (at least for now), that makes the type seem very expensive to alot of guys. I got the type after I scored an interview slot but before the actual interview.... I had an opportunity to go and took it. Guess I'll have to wait until next week to find out if it was worth it or not, as I have heard nothing this week.... including the mailbox.

I did my ATP years ago when I thought i was getting out (pre 911). Since I don't get the GI Bill (academy guy) I have waited on the type also. I figured if i didn't get an interview by my terminal time i would go get the type. But the email came in April and the interview in June. Yes I have been waiting that long for the DB. All of us who interviewed in the last week of June were pushed to the Aug DB.

Yeah. I have two friends in that same boat. Actually one of them interviewed in early June, but somehow he fell through the cracks and they slid him to the Aug DB. The other was a late June interviewee. All of us should hear something next week.
Satch, have you looked at FTI for the type? That is who I used....pretty low stress environment, the guys are great there. Did I mention it only runs $4995 total?
