This exactly. Crazy I agree with you on something. But this person was acting like a scientist during the Covid years. And somehow is all knowing on every possible subject.

That's not what I said. You're getting on thin ice with the insults but since I may not have been entirely clear I'll help your comprehension: Being in a non-seniority career field allows you to hop jobs at will. Being in a seniority system (which could include a rare non-union shop like OO) means golden handcuffs not just for pay but also for domicile and QOL.
It wasn't a comment on unions, it was a comment on the nature of seniority-based labor systems. Having done both, a good union shop is way better in almost all respects than white collar corporate America, but job portability is a glaring exception. I was not implying that we should de-certify all of our unions

Thet said wasn't Orenstien the Mesa guy? So you worked at Mesa AND SkyWest after the military? Wow.
When you're the boss, often saying less is best. One doesn't need to weigh in and be the expert on everything. You know the old saying "don't have arguments you've already won".

Since airlines are flooded with FA applicants every time the window opens, I don't think these billion dollar companies need to change their behavior at all.

I'm not on anyone's side per se. Just putting things in perspective. Are FA's underpaid? Ultimately that's determined by the market, and to a much lesser extent, collective bargaining. Now we can talk about ramper pay. And then gate agent pay.
