Default ICAO Initiates The Process To Raise The Age

Today, the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) began formal action directed at raising or eliminating the institution’s recommended age limit of 65 years. This initiative is spearheaded by Canada, Australia, Brazil, Japan, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

It is formally supported by 10 additional countries (including China), representing five continents. No Member States have opposed the measure. It is a significant sign that, just like in 2006, the international community will surge ahead and bring America quickly along to modernize the retirement mark.

Here is a link to ICAO Working Paper 106 – http://tiny.cc/j1sjzz To provide context: a Working Paper is significant. This is not a “file away” motion, by its own rules this is a mandate that attention be paid to the issue and action be taken.

So half the planet will be captained by Nancy Palosi And Mitch McConnell. The profession and safety will suffer. This is still an uphill battle. Let the battle rage on.

the delta guy flexing in front of congress? Yeah it’s real. And the kicker was (from what I was told) he was on disability when he did it.

Kind of?
It is so awful some old timers believe he was part of the ALPA deep state sent in to undermine the movement.

Also, why was the first post it in such large font? I thought people his age adjusted their phone settings to do that automatically. Some boom harder than others I guess.
