I was lucky to have avoided the CLT training center. Lots of stories about people needing extra time or busts on non-jeopardy recurrents.
HAhahah. absolutely nothing wrong in the CLT training center, except the cafeteria.

Well, at least I had the winter off.
This happened to me at DL post COVID. Got sent home during sims and got "lost" for 3 months. Finished sims then got lost again. Had to redo sims bc I expired on everything. Took me a year to get to OE. Not a bad way to burn probation but that training pay was tough for the full year.

The "controversy" with the CLT training center is more US Airways/AA BS.

I actually had Lori tell me to my face once (when she was still here) that the CLT training center is better because "we teach the US Airways way and AA doesn't know anything about flying the Airbus".

That said all of my experiences there have been fine and I've been flying the 320 series for over 10 years.

Yeah, strange times. Thankfully, we’ve largely fixed the new hire/training pay issue with the new contract.
