I would hope that is what people would do. Your life and well-being should be more important than a corporation.
I've had flights cancel in base during irops and I just get my bag and go home (I love close by). I'm not on reserve and Im not getting paid to sit in the crew room. It irks me that people show up to their trips knowing their flights are gonna be late and still show up at their original sign in time. There is no reason for that, have some self respect.
That's a matter of opinion. As long as the paychecks clears why should any of us care who has the best "service".

He was saying don’t show up at all if the flight was delayed, so yeah, kinda was. Then decided to say everyone else just loved hanging out at the airport hoping to be called or some sort. It was very much implied. Unless he was implying lie to your employer and say you were where you were supposed to be at report, and weren’t.

If you have trip with a noon sign in and your first flight is pushed from 1 pm to say 4pm you still show up at noon?

For some of them it is. Seems to coorelate to a fondness for hats and sailors coats. it's their whole identity and they can't help themselves but to run all over this forum and project it.
