Cartels Recruiting Flight Attendents
#21
I had an uncle, and he had some friends... Yeah it was a thing back in the day.
In this day and age, the cartel machine is a meat grinder, low-level people will get ground up most likely. A skilled professional like a pilot might have a more gentlemanly experience. Maybe.

Best flight attendant smuggling scheme was the time a half dozen Lufthansa flight attendants spent several years smuggling 63,000 pounds(pounds, as in weight, not British money) of Euros from China to Germany.
It’s a fascinating scheme:
Euro coins pulled from circulation and sent to China to be broken down for scrap at a smelter.
Then partially reassembled enough to pass a cursory glance.
Coins given to flight attendants who take it to Bundesbank who take “damaged” coins back with minimal questions. They do this in <1000 Euro increments (1 and 2 Euro denominations) to avoid suspicions for an exchange.
Estimated about 20 million in euros scammed by this.
Evil, but kind of brilliant.

I'm talking about Florida, not Mexico, as an entry point. You should stay in YOUR lane here.

Funny. I’m on one right now. Third country in as many weeks. I spent 12 weeks on another continent in the last year. Also a citizen of another country, and a first generation American. Good try.
