Cartels Recruiting Flight Attendents

From talking to union people it's pretty much 100% accidental weapons. I think I recall one guy tried to carry a lot of undeclared cash, but that was probably for personal use, ie he wanted to stash it in an offshore bank without federal knowledge.

Guys don't need a weapon if they want to do harm to a single aircraft and not live to see the outcome, correct. I'd argue, however, it's A LOT harder up get away with it if you can't incapacitate your competent other pilot

I recall a guy trying bring a bunch of cash into the USA undeclared and tax free. He had been flying in India and had stacked several hundred thousand undeclared in cash over in India. He was trying to get it into the USA tax free. Or something close to that scenario.

it seems like 99% of the things the TSA is looking for is just them playing big brother and not actually anything to do with safety. But I think we all already knew that.

On the topic of TSA.. Tell me how a wheelchair pusher or "excuse the cart" driver that got hired yesterday is able to skip security and have free reign over all secure areas of the airport, but yet the pilots that have gone through the same (and arguably more rigorous) background checks are still required to be at the mercy of the randomly selected KCM program instead of being issued something similar to a SIDA badge.
Also, don't government publications require pilots holding an ATP to "be of good moral character"?
