So you're a vegan with ugly shoes and drive a Prius also? Or are you more of a Miata guy

The Johnson & Murphy with the XC4 soles are my go to for over a decade. Slip on, metal detector friendly, can wear them all day type comfort. The bottoms have grip but doesn't look cheap. They have another style with a more boxy toe, but this sale price is a no-brainer. Also have styles with laces if you are a shoestring enthusiast, but make sure it has the XC4 sole.

You're welcome.

I have a very good friend that is an amazing surgeon and makes money that we would blush at. Highly respected and teachers others.

I can barely get him to ware pants and tennis shoes as crocks and scrubs are basically his second skin now.

Cloths define nothing anymore. Rich people dress casual and people who really can’t afford high end are mortgaging their financial health to impress.

You do you though.

‘teachers others’
’ware pants’
’crocks’
’cloths’

Too many margaritas?

I agree with you in principle, but you’re being a bit disingenuous. Yeah, dress how you want on your own time, but it’s different at work. When I flew Pt91 my bossman wore sweats on vacation or going to visit his grandkids. He wore a suit if he was going to close a deal.

I most certainly will and will continue to have respect for myself and my profession by not wearing deplorable footwear such as that being discussed in this thread.

Well said. If my attorney showed up to court wearing these abominations of footwear, I’d have to slap him. Of course, he’d probably sue me 😬
