What is your vesting period for the A plan?

Ya almost exactly. I did take OCV, didn’t pick up anything extra but did have to do training on days off (not my choice) so that was a bigger check.

One year. But if you retire before age 60, it's an 8%/yr hit on the payout.

Thanks for that. I thought it was a short vesting period. FedEx is 5 years (each year can be completed in six active months). The pension is the same for FOs as it is for captains. And there is a 3% penalty for each year (actually .25% per month) if you start collecting before the age of 60. But you can postpone the pension benefit until 60. If you postpone past 65 it’s a 2% gain per year (.33% per month).

This is a great idea. I would add a few more questions. The most objective way of measuring total compensation and work rules, is to add all forms of income provided by their contract and either dividing it by days worked or total block hours flown. Things like company contributions to 401k and per diem matter since both are products of the contract along with W2 box 1. Thanks for putting this together though. It’s a good start.
