CSEL/CMEL/instruments 141 training: $36400
Petrol: $2604
Insurance: $1300 (should be partially refunded)
Profits from selling plane: $3600
Resume review: $125
Emerald coast interview prep: $400
Raven airline app review (irony not lost on me): $300
Logbook software: $300+ and 3 different ones tried. Still not sure if I like what I got.
Checkrides: $1900
ATP-CTP: $3999
ATP written and study software: $225

Starting off at a home based cargo airline I never dreamed I'd get for my first venture into this profession. Pretty damn priceless.

Congrats on jumping directly into the deep end. Study hard and make sure you know your FOM and AOM better than everyone else in your newhire class. I say that because almost everyone else will have jet and 121 experience to fall back on and you will have very little relevant prior time. You can definitely do this, but it’s going to be a challenge initially.

FedEx year 5/6 757 captain, Europe-based. 3 months of training at the beginning of the year.

300k gross
26k DC
35k foreign-domicile housing allowance

361k total

1115 credit hours
150 block hours

Took all my vacation (18 days x 6hrs a day), didn't pick up an extra flying, had a little extra pay for recruiting work, saw a lot of Europe.

Do you have an easy way of knowing your total per diem hours? Curious on TAFB.

I didn’t start flying in Europe until May, I was pay only-non flying for my first month here.

but I had $6100 for that period, divided by $3.15 (intl PD) = 1936 TAFB for 7 months May-Dec. divided by 24 = 80 days away or 11.5 a month. I had less than a week of unused reserve days so I don’t really know how to factor that in.

NetJets Global SIC, top of the pay scales (17 year scale).

8&6 schedule all year. 30 extended days and 3 after midnight returns. 8 sick days taken. 200 total days worked.

Gross pay- 336K
Per diem- 10K
401K match- 16K
Total- 362K if we are including per diem- not a fan of including that, but it is here.

SWA 1st year.
No Vacation. No PS. Live in Base.
W2 earnings of 117k
Per diem of 5k
18k from the B fund

140k total compensation

Blocked 616

Averaged 13.5 official days off/month from when I hit the line. Doesn't include days not used on reserve or days sick.
Almost every month was a reserve line.

Only picked up at premium.

Best month was 190 TFP with 54 at 2nd year pay.

A week ago, I thought 200k would be attainable in '23, now, I'm not so sure.
