Yeah. That's absolutely not true. More times than not it's the other guy jabbering away about politics or how the effing North/South guys screwed them in the merger like I could give two s* about it.

As to the age limit, I’d say from my experience growing up in an airline family and knowing many major airline pllots since being a kid in the early 60’s..most should probably move on at 65. That said, there is a percentage that could stay and do well. They should have a chance. The logistics of figuring out who is a problem.

I shook off the golden handcuffs and checked out 6 months the early. I might have stayed longer were it not for all the Covid circus. Instead, jumped into a corporate jet, and am having a ball. Half the pay and twice the fun, on a third the grief.
Sad. The last thing I want to do when I retire from flying is fly more.

Actually have a Delta friend retired off the 330 he died at 67 (COVID) ..But here at purple have a had at least 3 die early 2 were in early 60's and very recent and one was 59 . I have seen a lot of early deaths lately would be lucky to make it to 67.
