I agree, lets start with eliminating the benefits welfare queens get.

Discoed through the 70s. More drugs. Elected Jimmy Carter and tanked the economy.
Regan (Greatest Generation) came along and tried to fix things.
Boomers suddenly find themselves wealthy. Yuppies. DINKS. Wall Street. Conspicuous consumption.
Gen X basically raises ourselves while our selfish parents are out selfing.
Savings and Loan Scandal. Economy tanks.
Clinton and Gingrich come in the 90s and try to fix things.

Economy collapses.
Boomers cry how they got shafted their whole lives and deserve charity. Try to pull up the ladder...

And on the cycle goes until they die.

There has never been a better time to be alive.

There has never be lower percentage of people living in absolute poverty.

There has never been a better time to be "poor."

All of this can be traced to an economic system known as capitalism. Free markets and free trade work, despite the left's attempts to obfuscate the data.

Name a better a system. Just one.

as long as consumption and economic growth continues to grow infinitely on finite resources, this will work out.

Agreed.

Population growth will inevitably decline as the world gets richer. It happens everywhere it's been tried. Another benefit of capitalism and free trade.

Another benefit of increased wealth is political stability and more concern about the environment.

Those who wrote about the "Population Bomb" in the 1970's ignored the rest of the story.

i like the part where you think capitalism will suddenly bring first world standards of living to places the first world relies upon exploiting to deliver first world standards of living to themselves.

Tax breaks aren't subsidies.

I think what you mean to say is that "everyone should get tax breaks"
