[QUOTE=flensr;3358700]An easy comparison is spirit and SWA. When I was there, Spirit trips were often 2-3 legs a day, overnights 15+ hrs were not unusual. SWA trips are often 4-5 legs/day, overnights right at 12 hrs are not typical but not exactly uncommon either.
Nope. It's funny when you hear about the 4 and 5 day legs at Southwest, it's always from guys who don't work for Southwest. I haven't had a 5 leg day in years. There is an occasional 4 leg day. The vast majority of lines are 3 day trips with 2-3 leg days.

Agreed. I fly plenty of trips with one and two leg days at swa.
If I am going to be making min rig on a trip anyway, why the heck would I want to fly right up to that min rig total? I am inherently lazy.
Now during times like this where I am flying premium or double? Yeah, use me and abuse me. I just picked up a double time 4 day for February that pays 57 and is commutable. It's a gross trip, but who cares?

I'm going to go to the regionals in the spring. Hoping the chance to make the jump to the majors is better there. Plus knowing my schedule more than 12 hours out. I'm not sure exactly how much we should be making but id think it would be in the $100,000 neighborhood since there's net jet guys making more on smaller equipment, but maybe I'm wrong.
yeah, reading on here really made me see that. they gave us a rise to $75,000 this year but were still underpaid, just less underpaid now.

Hate to say it—this three day is 2-4-4.
Do deadheads count? Had a four day earlier and on a move up had four legs plus a DH.

Does it count if every one of my trips next month has at least one four leg day in it? Just saying…

215 TFP. 18 days off on paper but more like 20-21 days off in actuality because of getting released from days with deadheads on the front or back end and either commuting to meet the trip the next day or going home early. I also had one week of vacation in the first half of the month.
